Christopher & Banks Corporation is a Minneapolis-based company that specializes in women’s apparel. We were founded in 1956 when Gil Braun opened his first Braun’s store in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

We offer updated classic styling in quality products at a great value. We provide a fresh and colorful mix of clothing and accessories for every season, creating looks that work for her lifestyle.

Our stores are bright and inviting and our personal shoppers (store associates) assist in making our customer’s shopping experience enjoyable through genuine and honest wardrobe selling. In addition, for our customer’s convenience, our online e-commerce business offers an expanded assortment of sizes, lengths and colors.

Today, Christopher & Banks consists of retail, outlet and online businesses. As of April 8, 2013, we operate 605 stores. Our Christopher & Banks stores offer missy sizes 4 to 16. Petite sizing is also available in all of our Christopher & Banks store locations. The CJ Banks stores cater to plus size women offering sizes 14W to 24W. In addition, for our customer’s convenience, our MPW store format (41 locations) and our outlet stores (25 locations) offer all sizes under one roof – missy, petite and women’s.
